It has been proven time and time again that tea is extremely healthy. The same Camellia sinensis tea plant amazingly produces black, green, white, yellow, oolong and pu-erh tea. So, why should we be drinking it?
The most commonly discussed benefit is that tea helps you lose weight. It does this by boosting your metabolism and increasing the rate at which you burn fat. Although all tea comes from the same tea plant (created with different processing), green tea is the highest in antioxidants and polyphenols and is the one where most studies show the most effective results.
Tea has been shown to lower your chances of getting many of forms of cancer. It can make you smarter, can prevent various diseases and is an all round good egg. But, one thing that’s for sure, tea is undeniably good for you. Happy drinking.

Our teas are ethically sourced from smallholders, local cooperatives and smaller plantations where possible. By encouraging the growth of high quality, often organic tea the farmers are better paid. This, in turn, enables them to support their families, villages and communities and to invest in sustainable farming and a better future.
